For the 7th year, we will again Walk to Defeat ALS. Due to Covid-19, this years’ walk will take place virtually, again.  Next year will be a huge walk/party ( I hope).  I also hope that you have made it through the pandemic unscathed and if that is not the case I wish you peace in healing.

UPDATE:

We have  now been  living about  20 months of life without Paul.  I am so blessed to have so many of you keeping in contact and checking in with  us!  We are doing the best we can without our husband, father and your  friend.

I continue to be active with the CT ALS Association and remain on the Board of Directors.  The local chapter is a wonderful organization commited to helping people in the Ct area navigate this awful disease by providing  so much support, guidance  and programs. 

Any support you would like to extend to the CT ALS Chapter in remebrance of Paul is greatly appreciated.  

I pray you remain safe during this pandemic.

Note from last year.......................

As many are aware, Paul passed away peacefully on January 10, 2020 in the comfort of his own home with Billy and me by his side.

Paul fought courageously.  While it wasn’t always sunshine and happiness, I feel we made the best of a really, really, awful diagnosis.  Paul once said, “I’ve been dealt a shitty hand that I’ll have to play” and boy did he play.

While we knew the day would eventually come, it was somewhat unexpected, as we had just returned from two days in Philly visiting his sisters and enjoying a Flyers game in person.

I will continue to support the fight against ALS for Paul and people who are living with the disease.

The ALSA Ct Chapter has been wonderful to us.  They made us aware of so many useful resources and introduced us to others living with ALS.

Let’s make this a record-breaking year for Paul’s Friends for PALs.
